Zero Tolerance

February 27, 2021

eagle-ld16-34.jpg

On this day, the air temperature was well below zero. A brisk wind made it feel even colder. But as is common with them, apart from a little frost on the brow and a few feathers, you’d never know this eagle was dealing with it at all. I pull for them in times like these, because as easy as they may make it look..survival in the depth of a brutal winter is anything but easy. To watch them manage their energies, and balance those with the opportunities they must take advantage of to endure…leaves me inspired.
