Restored in 2019 by Union Pacific Railroad, the Big Boy 4014 is rolling the tracks again…this time coming through Iowa in early September. We saw this engine for the first time a few years back on its inaugural journey after restoration and it was great to see it once again. It always draws quite the crowd in all the small (and large) towns it travels through.
This trip even attracted Jay Leno to western Iowa to get the Big Boy on this popular TV show.
