In October of this year, the American Queen riverboat made a stop in Muscatine. I posted about it on social media but added little to the blog here for some reason.
To bring things up to speed, this was a trial stop for the boat and visitors stopped at several places including the Pearl Button Museum which I suspect they enjoyed quite a bit…it is a very unique place. I hope we can become a regular tour stop down the road.
Personally, It was enjoyable, for once, to really spend some time around her…I have watched her pass by many times…and you come away really appreciating her classic features. There is really no boat like this left traveling on America’s rivers.
