I think I have this hangup for harriers. Love to see them…snapped a lot of recent photos of them, but I’ve really struggled with getting something good that I liked. They are absolutely beautiful birds but to really show their great features, I believe you have to catch them pretty close to you, have great light at the time, and the position of the bird makes a difference too. And add in a bit of an over enthusiastic, twitchy, trigger finger when I see one, and I end up with a lot of misses and mistakes when they come flying by. Oh well, one must keep trying and eventually luck will fall in your favor.
