An observation about eagles…one thing you learn after watching them awhile is that they do a lot of waiting around. They are highly capable flyers, hunters, and fishers, but sometimes they are great conservers of energy as well. I guess if you’re a bird this big, it needs to be worth your while to take off from time to time.
