This little Cottontail rabbit could not have been very old. He was only a few inches tall. But he was quite alert and acted pretty much like any adult bunny would do. They simply can’t get too complacent because, well, things want to catch and eat them. I know, TMI I suspect for some people. Case in point, the last time I remember taking a photograph of a bunny, I ended up with a Coyote about six feet away from me…neither of us noticed each other initially because we were both so focused on the rabbit! Our eyes locked briefly before he exited gracefully into the underbrush. I think I spoiled his lunch…but the rabbit and I had a good day.
