It wasn’t officially the end of winter, but by all accounts we didn’t see much cold weather or snow, once we got into the new year. Fortunately though, a few Snowy Owls were seen in the area…and I finally caught a glimpse of one before they departed to the North. Quite a few folks really enjoyed this one up near Dewitt with great photos to show for it. For us, the photos were few, but the experience of spending time around one is always going to be memorable.
