So it’s the middle of the darned winter and I’m posting a picture of a hot air balloon?! What gives? Well, truth be told, I have been a slacker…like a year long slacker for updating this website…and yet my life seemed to continue on with new and interesting stuff. So I’m just playing catch up with some of my favorite photos from last year.
This balloon thing is really interesting. I totally respect the pilots and how they use the air and winds so effectively to hit targets and landing spots. They fly early and late when the winds are calmer.
I’m not sure there’s anything special about this balloon…they all look fantastic and colorful…I guess this one just reminded me of something I would probably try to come up with at home…parts of t-shirts, jeans, table clothes…some thread and a prayer and let’s go for a ride! It’s probably a good thing I didn’t try that in my youth.
