Bald Eagles around the Midwest are now either on eggs or actually have some young in the nest right now. Look around and you might just spot an eagle nest…they are popping up in a lot of places and they are usually BIG. You can see them from quite a distance away. I watched an adult eagle the other day, nestle in over her eggs or small chicks while the male stood guard on a nearby tree branch. In our day of modern technology you don’t have to worry about finding a nest yourself though…if you want to watch a pair of eagles raise their family, just tune into the Decorah Eagle Cam and enjoy the view.
