Cold Feet

March 3, 2023

Do eagles get cold feet? It’s a sensible question as you’ll often see them sitting on the ice of a frozen river or lake. Truth is, they can sit like that for hours on end, and their feet don’t get really cold. They have powerful circulation in these extremities as well as very thick tissue on the bottom of the feet that helps quite a bit too. It could be said that they are perfectly adapted to their environment…with winter conditions included.
