Chipping Sparrow

May 27, 2020

Chipping Sparrows are a diminutive bird of the summers here…most I think will migrate when the temperatures start dropping.  This little sparrow provided us a very enjoyable spring some years back when the female decided to nest in a hanging basket on our front porch.  It was fun watching the pair raise their family.  Which just goes to show, you don’t always have to travel far and wide to get a glimpse of the miracles in nature.  Even the small ones are worth watching.
