Cedar Bottoms is an area north of where I live…not too far away…which makes it a handy go-to spot if the Aurora starts to fire up. We’ve had some beautiful nights in the last few months and I hope that continues for a while longer. I’ve been enjoying the space stuff so much lately that I picked up an old Canon 6D camera…its ancient by today’s standards, but has always been considered a very good camera for astrophotography. Coupled with a cheap 14mm Rokinon lens, I think it creates some pleasing night images.
