It’s been some slim pickings of late as far as eagles go. It’s just been too warm in the upper midwest. Reports are that this might be changing soon, after all, we hardly ever see a warmish January. It’s not that I really love cold weather, it’s just what that weather does for the bird photography around here…most notably the eagles. If you want to find them congregated into larger groups, you have to have some cold, below freezing, weather.
