An Imperfect World

Can you see the “imperfection” in this butterfly?  Initially, I did not.  And I’m glad in a way, because frankly, I’d rather just see the beauty of something without being too critical about it.  As a societal observation I would say we often discount too much and don’t appreciate enough.  Yes, we most certainly live in an imperfect world.  There is so much we can see that is wrong.  But some simple things could make it more right.

Perfection, it’s been said, is a myth.

So be it…

Love more.  Judge less.  And be thankful that you’re here anyway…

I must remind myself of that more often.
