Air Of Confidence – Sandhill Cranes

April 1, 2020

Some cranes, most likely the elders of the of the group, show a form of confidence that can only come through years of trial mixed with the tribulation of overcoming most everything.  They are, or should I say, become, an incredibly durable bird.  Migration flights of thousands of miles. Enduring all kinds of weather, from winter storms to torrential rains and thunderstorms, they simply keep going…doing what cranes do, day in and day out.  Ultimately they raise and teach their young the ways of living in the wilds…and they are most notable as being excellent, patient, wise parents.  It seems to me they’ve earned the right to be confident…if not a little cocky from time to time.
