Weather Matters

October 26, 2020

I’m not quite sure what happened to fall…September is usually a beautiful time in Iowa and the weather starts to cool down a bit. Early October can still be warmish but by the end of the month, well, I’m just going off Trick or Treating history, but I can recall a lot of rainy, semi-miserable nights in the 40’s a lot of the time. Some of our neighbors are already seeing some appreciable snow and I would call that promising for my particular interests.

Now take this for what it is but the Farmers Almanac is saying our region should “not be too cold, or too wet.”

Neither of which sounds all that great for eagle photography.

We shall see soon enough.
