The winter of 2022/2023 will go down as one of the milder, warmer ones in recent history. It came in with a bang…with brutally cold weather in December. But the jet stream shifted after that and the cold and snow remained to the North for the rest of the winter. I’m not going to lie, it was kind of depressing. The Eagles would end up dispersing far and wide, and other than a few decent spots, the locations that we frequent around here were dudsville. Fortunately, I had a few good days at a local marina before my thoughts and ambitions turned to spring. I ended up being very grateful for that season-ending gift.
