Super Moon Over The Mississippi

December 23, 2018

The winter super moon is one of those things that is neat to see, but you have to really want to capture it with a camera to put up with the cold.  And on this evening, it was really cold.  Below zero windchills as I recall.

This moon was rising over the Mississippi river, so you know if the big river is iced up pretty well…it’s cold!

Regardless of the conditions though, it was worth it.  I enjoy looking at this image on hot summer days…cools me right off:)
