Icy Day Blue Jay

January 16, 2020

I’ve been waiting for some appreciable snow for at least the last month.  I’ve gotten no sympathy from any friends or family for my unfulfilled wish.  Shocking.  But today, snow was in the forecast and with high hopes, I went looking for some Cardinals which always get very active with the flurries.  But alas, most of the day had rain and ice pellets instead.  So for this icy day, I spent more time with the Blue Jay.  It rhymes, it’s pretty, and that ended up being enough for me.  More snow is on tap for this week…let’s keep those fingers crossed!
