Honor Flights – Blue Angels

May 8, 2020

Spring 2020: With airshows and air demonstrations in limbo due to the Covid19 outbreak, it has been nice to see the US Navy Blue Angels and the Air Force Thunderbirds, doing combined flights over various cities to honor the frontline health care workers, and essential workers, who are doing their best despite the challenges they face.  Other military fly overs have been done as well, such as the B2 flyover of Kansas City hospitals in late April.

These honor flights are a good reminder to remember and thank those who have had to work and serve the rest of us…sometimes in very trying conditions and situations.  Hospital and health care workers are highlighted of course, but let’s not forget the people in the supermarkets, retail operations, factories, and the service businesses (both large and small) that continue to provide the goods and necessities that we depend on for some semblance of a normal life.

To all of you…THANK YOU!
