Summer is gone now and I miss some of the colors we had this year…it was a good batch of coneflowers…in fact, there are still a couple of purple ones (Echinacea purpurea)blooming out front, but they will soon fade too. That’s just how the seasons go…but I know soon enough, the flowers will return, along with the all-important pollinators, hummingbirds, and just about every other good thing about summer.
