Is it possible to get too close to a Bald Eagle? Well, yes…I’m a fan of those who give wildlife it’s space…but a long lens helps with the photographs. I would not try this with a cell phone. In this case, my Olympus 300 F4 was just a bit too much to get everything in the picture. It’s good to get close to preserve the details in the feathers but you know when you really fill the frame, it’s harder to follow the bird and wing tips are sure to get left out of the view.
